Field Trips
During the duration of the program, the kids were granted opportunities to attend various field trips. We took them to bowling, skating, Chuck E Cheese, Oh Wow!, Living Treasures, Phantom Hockey's, and the Pittsburgh Zoo. Oh Wow! is a science and technology for kids. Their purpose is to engage the kids with hands-on exhibits and educational programs. Living Treasures is an animal park located in Pennsylvania that also has a petting zoo. At Phantom Hockey's, the kids had the opportunity to meet the owner, players, and to play hockey.

Tournaments
For entertainment and child involvement, various sport tournaments were held every week. The order that the tournaments were held were kickball, volleyball, softball, basketball, and football. During each tournament, a bracket was created to keep track of which teams already played and who won. At the end of the tournament, the winning team won prizes to take home.

End of Program Picnic
Every year, a picnic is thrown for all of the parks that participate in the program. The faculty grilled for the kids and the rest of the staff. For entertainment music was played, the kids had arts and crafts, basketball to play, and was able to play on the playground. At the end of the day, all the kids names were put in a bucket and over 100 prizes were handed out to them. The prizes included mainly school supplies.
